Trip Overview

Day 1

Barcelona

Bienvenidos a España! Arrive at Barcelona El Prat Airport before 10:00AM and be shuttled to your boutique hotel in the heart of Barcelona.

Spend the afternoon exploring Barcelona and its Gothic architecture. Don’t miss the incredible Sagrada Familia, designed by the world famous Antoni Gaudí.

Get to know a completely different part of Spain as the region of Catalonia has their own language and culture.

Enjoy Catalan cuisine and the non-stop nightlife that will make your stay in Barcelona unforgettable.

Day 2

Explore Granada

Take an early flight from Barcelona to go straight to Granada, which was once a Moorish territory.

Spend the afternoon exploring the hidden side of Granada and the beautiful open air markets around the city.

Dinner is served very late in Spanish culture, so enjoy a “merienda”, the traditional afternoon snack, usually consisting of delicious local pastries.

Day 3

Explore Granada Differently

Keep exploring Granada and take a step back in time strolling in the streets of Albaicín.

Enjoy an urban hike to El Mirador de San Nicolas to observe the palace of Alhambra.

Take a chance to visit the ancient fortress of the Alhambra as an optional activity. We highly recommend you to book your ticket far in advance.

But the day is not over yet. Before the sun sets, you'll go on an included night adventure tour led by a local guide where you'll explore Granada's hidden gems.

Day 4

Explore Seville

Say goodbye to Granada and say hello to Seville, the capital of southern Spain’s Andalusia region!

Spend the day exploring Seville by bike with our trip leaders.

Visit the Cathedral of Seville or climb the Giralda Bell Tower, originally constructed as a mosque in 1184 and then later taken by the Christians.

Watch a flamenco show and experience this memorable tradition of Southern Spain.

Day 5

Explore the Real Alcazar

Wake up in Seville and start the day exploring the royal palace of Alcazar, a UNESCO Heritage Site built in the 14th century. Stroll in the gardens of this beautiful place and maybe you'll recognize some scenes filmed in Game of Thrones.

Enjoy a free afternoon with the option to learn flamenco or explore Italica, an ancient Roman city.

Have a typical tapas dinner with your new friends and enjoy a glass of 'tinto de verano', the typical Andalusian drink.

Day 6

Experience Cadiz

Spend the day in Cadiz, also known as the City of Lights thanks to its many hours of sunlight!

Explore the heart of Cadiz and have an authentic lunch at the local food market.

If weather permits, relax at the beach and take the time to explore the Castle of San Sebastian and the Castle of Santa Catalina.

If you're lucky, you may see the Moroccan Coast.

Day 7

Explore Madrid like a Local

Take an early train from Seville to Madrid and arrive in the capital of Spain ready to see this dynamic metropolis.

Reach the heart of the city at Puerta del Sol and take a charming walk through the different neighborhoods Madrid has to offer.

Visit Retiro Park, one of the largest and most beautiful parks in Madrid and discover the museum district.

Enjoy a local dinner with your new friends and spend the last night of your trip experiencing the famous Spanish nightlife.

Day 8

Relaxation & Departure

On the final day of our adventure, wake up early to soak in the last morning in Europe together.

Say goodbye to your new friends and depart at any time of the day with instructions from your trip leaders on how to take taxis, buses, or local transportation to the airport.
