Arrive at Mexico City’s Benito Juárez International Airport by 2:00 pm and take included transportation to your hotel in the heart of Mexico City near Palacio Bellas Artes.
Take a walk through Mexico City and start building up your appetite for the world famous Mexican food dishes you’ll try tonight like Pambazos or Tortas de Tamales.
Enjoy your first dinner with your new group of friends as your Trip Leader goes over the plan for your Mexico City adventure.
After breakfast, visit “Casa de Azul”, the Frida Khalo exhibit located in the neighborhood Coyoacán. Don’t miss the market in Coyoacán either!
Continue your day with a guided city tour to places like the Palace of Fine Arts and the Metropolitan Cathedral and learn the ins and outs of vibrant Mexico City.
End your evening on a high note with dinner out and a Lucha Libre Mexican wrestling match--one of the most exciting events in the city!
Fuel up on a local breakfast before adventuring out of the city to the Teotihuacán Archaeological site.
Meet a local archaeological expert who will guide you through the amazing ruins known as “Pyramid of the Sun” and “Pyramid of the Moon”. Continue exploring the sites at your own pace, before return to Mexico City in the afternoon.
Now is the time to really enjoy some authentic Mexican tacos! Your local Trip Leader will show you the best tacos in the area...and don't forget to wash it down with an agua fresca--a refreshing drink made from fresh fruit blended with water, lime juice, and a small amount of sweetener.
Feel free to continue your evening with an optional night out or return to your boutique accommodations for some well deserved rest.
Today you will visit the colourful Xochimilco canals, boarding your own trajinera boat and floating around the “chinampas” (floating gardens).
Enjoy an optional Mariachi serenade, and a delicious local lunch aboard before returning to your hotel for your last night in this wonderful city.
Round off your final day in Mexico City with an optional night out to end your trip with a bang.
