Trip Overview

Day 1

Arrival in Barcelona

¡Bienvenidos a España! Arrive at Barcelona International Airport and take included transportation to your eco-chic accommodations in the heart of the city.

Spend your afternoon walking around Barcelona’s coolest neighborhoods with your Trip Leader. You’ll be conveniently located near The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla and Plaça Catalunya.

Enjoy Catalonian cuisine at a local restaurant, get to know the other like-minded travelers on the trip, and start feeling at home in Spain.

Day 2

Best of Barcelona

Head out to explore Barcelona's major attractions on a private walking tour like Passeig de Gràcia, Las Ramblas, Plaça Catalunya, and La Boqueria Market with your Trip Leader.

A must-see is the inspiring beauty of La Sagrada Família, an architectural masterpiece that they started in 1882 and is still unfinished to this day. Marvel at its soaring spires and intricate façades, each telling a story of spiritual symbolism and artistic ingenuity.

Later in the evening, get ready to experience the true Spanish lifestyle. Remember, everything starts later in Spain, and your Trip Leader will guide you on what neighborhoods to explore, restaurants to try, and nightlife to check out.

Day 3

History and Tapas

Head over to the coastline to explore Barceloneta and the medieval districts of Barcelona like Born, Gothic, and Raval. You’ll get a local’s perspective on a private walking tour through these trendy neighborhoods and continue learning about Barcelona’s unique culture.

After that, you will travel to the picturesque city of Girona. With your Trip Leader, explore the town’s historic center, including Roman and medieval walls, the old Jewish quarter, the Eiffel Bridge, and the Onyar River.

When you arrive at your farmhouse accommodation outside of Girona, you can enjoy your first farm-to-table meal and learn the history of this unique place.

Day 4

Slow Travel: Girona Farmstay Day

The morning greets you with the peaceful sounds of nature. As you enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, start your day with an organic breakfast. Today is a free day to relax or to be as active as you please.

The farmhouse offers activities such as yoga, massages, hammam spa service, swimming, and gentle walks along the surrounding hills. You can also join the farmhouse team to learn more about the garden and the farm animals.

Feeling a bit more adventurous? Return to Girona to enjoy the incredible variety of cafés and trendy shops the city has to offer.

In the evening, enjoy a group dinner with your new friends, sourced directly from the fresh products grown at the farmhouse.

Day 5

Costa Brava

We’ll leave the farmhouse in the morning and travel to Costa Brava, home to some of Spain's most breathtaking landscapes and enchanting Mediterranean seaside towns.

Our first destination is Calella de Palafrugell, a charming fishing village nestled along the rugged coastline. Walking the promenade, you’ll feel the fresh Mediterranean breeze.

Indulge in delicious seafood or visit one of the pristine beaches, immersing yourself in the laid-back Mediterranean atmosphere.

Continuing our adventure, we will arrive at Pals, a remarkably preserved medieval village on a hill. Admire the historic architecture as you wander the cobblestone streets.

Day 6

Pyrenees & Track Railway Adventure

We drive through Catalonia’s countryside to reach Queralbs, a traditional small town in the Pyrenees.

Next, we board a rack railway that will take us up into the mountains to La Vall de Nuria, an area surrounded by peaks nearly 10,000 feet (3,000 meter) high and offering stunning views.

Here, you can enjoy a picnic lunch along the banks of the lake in Nuria and walk to explore this tiny hamlet located at the base of the Pyrenees mountains.

In the evening, we return to the farmhouse in the evening and enjoy a farewell dinner at the farmhouse, sharing stories of your Catalonian experiences with your new friends.

Day 7

Return to Barcelona and departure

On the final day of our adventure, wake up early to make the most of your last morning in Spain. Enjoy an organic breakfast at the farmhouse and take in the views of the countryside one more time.

For those who are not departing on this day, you will be dropped off at a central location in the city with instructions from your Trip Leader on taking taxis, buses, or local transportation to your next destination. OUR travelers LOVE US

"I’ve been on 2 trips (and already have my 3rd booked!) both trips have been an amazing experience. It’s a great opportunity to travel and see other countries, but without the stress and anxiety that can come with travel!" -Callie M.

"I was skeptical of just how good the reviews are, almost seemed too good to be true, but they've more than earned them! Will definitely be looking to do another adventure in the near future!" -Andrew N.

"I love traveling with under 30! The trip leaders are phenomenal and the trips are organized, immersive, fun, and 10/10. I didn't travel internationally before Under 30, and after each trip, I gain confidence, knowledge, and amazing stories. It's been the adventure of a lifetime!" -Kalyn G.
