Trip Overview

Day 1

Arrival in Mexico

Arrive at Cancun International Airport (CUN) before 3:00 PM and be driven to our boutique hotel in the cultural center of Tulum, Mexico.

Away from more overbuilt resort cities, you'll be enjoying the Maya Riviera steps away from some of the best Mayan Ruins.

Enjoy the best tacos of your life and a margarita with your group of like-minded travelers.

Day 2

Bike the Maya Riviera & Tulum Ruins

Soak in ancient Mayan ruins, perfect beaches, and authentic Mexican food -- all on two wheels.

Bike through the chic town, along forest paths and the Caribbean shore, while learning about Mexican and Maya traditions.

After visiting the stunning Tulum Ruins, cool off with a swim in a cenote- - a limestone sinkhole unique to the Yucatan Peninsula.

Tonight eat dinner and listen to live music at a local mojito bar.

Day 3

Explore Chichen Itza

Visit Chichen Itza, one of the largest and most mystical Maya cities. The giant step pyramid, El Castillo is one of the New 7 Wonders of the World. Learn about the history and culture of this archeological site from a certified Mexican guide.

Swim in another crystal-clear cenote before heading back to Tulum.

Go out for an amazing Yucatan style meal and dance to a variety of latin music at a local disco.

Day 4

Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve

Wake up early to enjoy white-sand Mexican beaches, just minutes down the road.

In the afternoon, visit Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve, a UNESCO world heritage site and the largest protected area in the Mexican Caribbean.

Visit the archeological site of Muyil, take a boat ride across two freshwater lagoons, and soak in the pristine water.

After your last Mexican dinner, find a mezcal bar to celebrate with your new friends on your final night.

Day 5

Relaxation & Depart Mexico

Say adios to Tulum and plan to keep in touch with the Under30Experiences community back home.

Take our shuttle back to Cancun International Airport (CUN) for your flight departing after 2:00 PM.

Tulum Trip Reviews

"The 4 day in Mexico was one of the best holidays I have had. The people on the trip and the leaders were so fun. The trip was very well planned and executed seamlessly. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and I sure learnt a lot about the Mayan ruins. I would highly recommend Under30Experiences." -Jessie J.

"I was a little nervous about traveling with a group of people I had never met before but it ended up being one of the best trips I've ever taken! As someone who doesn't really want the added stress of planning a vacation, this was perfect. Plus, it is kind of nice to travel with people who are just as excited about adventure and exploring. I ended up booking my second trip for last month on U30X's inaugural trip to Tulum, Mexico. This trip was exactly what I needed as NYC started to get cold. And on both trips, I really pushed my comfort zone. Matt, Courtney, and Kevin were great trip leaders who made everyone feel at home. And a shoutout to Jared for being a rockstar with all the pre-trip preparations. In addition to the trips, U30X hosts local meetups in different cities. I went to the last one in NYC and it was fun to reminisce with other travelers. Can't wait to book my next trip! Peru or Iceland, anyone?" -Tiffany Y.

"I just returned from my first trip with U30X (to Mexico and Belize) and had a wonderful experience. I'm already looking to book my second one! The trip was so fun, the staff was great, and the people I met were amazing. The trip was well planned, organized, and executed. If you're on the fence about booking a trip, DO IT. It's 100% worth it. If you have any questions, definitely reach out to the staff. They love what they do, so they love talking to interested travelers." -Maggie T.
