2017 is almost here!

If you are like me you are working on setting goals for next year and finding ways to keep yourself accountable.

Vision boarding has always been a tool I found myself drawn to. The combination of colors, words, and images keep me inspired and the creative aspect of it keeps me excited.

Vision boarding is a great tool to imagine what we want for ourselves as well as to practice manifestation. Those whom we look at as "having it all" didn't just have it handed to them. They dreamt about it and worked towards their goal every single day.

By being intentional, we can begin to shift our mindsets and unlock our truest selves in order to live the best version of our lives.

Let's get started!

Gather everything you will need

To start your board make sure you have all your tools. Mine include different kind of magazines, markers, poster board, a glue stick and scissors.

You can also include personal embellishments like feathers, photos of loved ones, postcards, boarding passes, craft paper, stickers, or anything else that will make your board yours.

Set aside time and space

Once you have everything its time to set aside an hour or two of uninterrupted time for yourself.

Whether you decide to sit in the quiet or play music, sit outside or in bed, remember to be comfortable in your space.

Envision what you want

Now is the time to put everything you could want on paper – literally.

Want to live aboard? Glue on a photo of a place you’d like to live.

Thinking of a new career? Add words that describe the kind of career you want.

Determined to be healthier? Find photos that represent what healthy means to you.

Your vision of yourself can be as focused or as broad as you want. Use this as a space to grow and play.

Add your feelings

Feelings are equally – if not more – important than what you have. Sometimes we don't have the language we need to express how we want to feel.

Find words that describe how you want to feel each morning. Include quotes that may get you through the hard days. Write down words of love from a text your best friend sent you. Start using this language in your every day speech.

Get creative

If you can imagine it, include it. This isn’t a project in self-editing so throw all caution (and rules) aside.

Your board is your most unique and personal vision of what you want for your life.

Remain open

The more we open our hearts and practice gratitude, the more beauty we can welcome in our lives.

I invite you to remain open during your exploration in order to receive all that you are attracting into your life.

Change doesn't happen over night

It will take time to achieve your vision and ensuring your feeling great during the journey is key.

Be kind and patient with yourself and trust that you already have everything within yourself that you need to make 2017 your best year yet.

I’d love to hear your plans for 2017.
