Updated May 20, 2022: Each country around the world has different entry requirements due to COVID-19. When booking your flight, please note that you are also responsible for any entry requirements in countries where you have a layover, even if you are not exiting the airport.
All travelers returning to the United States will be required to show a negative COVID-19 test from a lab (PCR or Antigen) taken within the last 24 hours upon arrival, unless you have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 90 days.
From the US
CDC: "If you recently recovered from COVID-19, you may instead travel with documentation of recovery from COVID-19 (i.e., your positive COVID-19 viral test result on a sample taken no more than 90 days before the flight’s departure from a foreign country
and a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you were cleared to travel)."
Under30Experiences will help coordinate testing at the end of your trip. Each traveler is responsible for fees associated with the test, payable directly to the lab conducting the test.
Travelers can now bring their own at-home, self-administered test kit such as
Abbott BinaxNow COVID-19 Ag Tests to take before the end of the trip, to show to US immigration upon return home. This test must be taken under the supervision of a telehealth practitioner through an app like Navica. Please note that this is
not allowed in the country of Belize.
If you are returning home to another country that is not the United States, you will be responsible for meeting the entrance requirements for that country.
Here is a brief list of special requirements to enter countries where we have trips operating in the next few months. These requirements change rapidly, so please stay up to date on entrance requirements as your trip date nears. Consult your local embassy for further details.
