Day 1: Lima, Peru

Arrive in Lima (LIM) before 8:00pm and be shuttled to our hotel in the neighborhood of Miraflores.

Spend your first afternoon exploring the miles of cliffs along Lima's Costa Verde or the Green Coast including Parque del Amor.

Meet your group of like-minded adventure travelers at our opening dinner and explore Miraflores or the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco.

Day 2: Arrival in Cusco

Walk through the parks in the Miraflores district of Lima among gardens, beaches, and beautiful downtown metropolis.

Fly from Lima to Cusco (flight included) to the capital city of the Incan Empire.

Cusco is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you will rest to get acclimated to the change in altitude.

Relax with your new friends at the region's #1 Rated Hotel on TripAdvisor.

Day 3: Explore the Incan Empire

Cusco represents the center of Quechua culture in the Andes and by walking the streets you can see the layers of history come alive.

Hike to Christo Blanco and the Pre-Incan citadel of Saksaywaman built in the 1100's for a beautiful view.

Wander through the artisanal market to find beautiful multi-colored alpaca wool sweaters for friends back home.

At night enjoy local foods like alpaca, guinea pig, and trout as we go out to dinner in Cusco's Plaza de Armas.

Day 4: Cultural Immersion

Drive through the Sacred Valley and see the Urubamba River on our way to visit a small indigenous community in Chinchero.

Learn how the Quechua people live on a sustainable reserve in the Andes and what their spiritual connection to the earth means to them during our community outreach project.

Then, see Cusco illuminate at night and enjoy a Pisco Sour, the most famous drink in Peru.
Tomorrow you'll be headed to Machu Picchu.

Day 5: Machu Picchu

Wake up early and take PeruRail from Cusco to the town of Aguas Calientes through the mystical Sacred Valley.

"The Lost City of the Incas" will take your breath away as you wind through the paths and tour this preserved piece of history.

Hike a section of the Inca Trail and tour Machu Picchu with a local tour guide who can explain the magic of this site.

After trying to get a selfie with a llama, take the train back to Cusco and reflect on the beauty of what you just experienced.

Day 6: Relaxation & Departure

Today is our last breakfast together before heading back or continuing your adventure.

Say goodbye to the amazing new hiking buddies you've made and adios to beautiful Cusco.

All 2017 trips include a return flight from Cusco in Lima.  Please book your international connection from Lima after 2PM.

To give travelers greater flexibility in 2018 we will end the adventure in Cusco and you can book your own flight home from Cusco whenever you'd like.

Feel free to stay and explore more of the Andes. As our Under30Experiences trip comes to a close, we hope you keep in touch with our awesome community and your new friends.
