Trip Overview

Day 1

Arrival in Bali

Arrive at Denpasar, Bali at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), be greeted by our team and drive to Ubud with your new friends.

Find yourself among rice paddies and steep ravines in this mecca of art and culture known for being less visited than Bali's main tourist areas.

Relax and recover after a long flight and enjoy our opening dinner. Get to know your Bali travel group and set an intention to lead you through the week.

Day 2

Monkey Forest & Cultural Immersion

Our villas are inside the confines of one of the oldest villages in Bali. Be welcomed inside a traditional Balinese compound and temple.

In the afternoon, get up close and personal with the Balinese long-tailed macaque monkey in the sacred ecological reserve at the Monkey Forest.

Afterward, explore the local market, cafes and art galleries of Ubud, where many expats have moved to be part of the serenity.

Day 3

Volcano Hike

Today will be the most physically demanding part of your experience, but one you will remember for a lifetime.

Wake up for a hike at 2:00 AM to see the sunrise atop Mount Batur - a gorgeous and active volcano. Climb 1.5 hours with a local guide and your new friends to experience the breathtaking view from the summit.

Enjoy breakfast at the peak overlooking Bali's tallest mountains and start your day from what feels like the top of the world.

Day 4

Balinese Rice Paddies

Head into the local rice paddies to see how Bali's main source of food is harvested right from the farmers of the region.

See traditional laborers working in the terraced rice paddies and learn about the impact of tourism on the rice paddies.

Afterward, cool down by hiking through a river to hidden waterfalls.  In the evening, enjoy a traditional Balinese family-style dinner at an organic restaurant overlooking the rice paddies.

Day 5

Batu Bolong Beach

Enjoy a day trip to the coastal village of Canggu, an up and coming destination that comprises different black-sand beaches and popular surf breaks.

Enjoy laying out on the sand and swimming in the turquoise blue waters. Rent a surfboard and take to the waves or simply relax the day away with a fresh coconut.

After a day in the sun, cool down as we take in the sunset overlooking the Indian Ocean.

Day 6

Bali Adventure Day

It's time to plan your own day and explore what Bali has to offer.

In the morning take an optional yoga class at the world famous Yoga Barn or enjoy a massage at one of the many spas in Ubud.

Later in the afternoon choose to explore the markets, try famous Luwak coffee, or just take it easy and hang with your new friends as you explore great shopping opportunities.

Finish out the evening with a cultural exchange with the children’s orchestra of the village.

Day 7

Relaxation & Departure

Wake up early for an optional trip into town or one last swim in the infinity pool overlooking the forest.

Enjoy the included ride back to Ngurah Rai International Airport for your flight departing after 12:00 PM local time, or continue the journey on your own and explore more of Bali.

U30X is such an amazing travel community. Once your trip is over, the experience is not. They keep in touch with their alumni & provide platforms for travel questions, personal development, & community connections in your own backyard! If you're a young person looking to travel I highly recommend U30X!

There are not enough ways for me to describe how amazing this company is. After my first trip I always told people, it wasn't about the location, but the experience that u30x gave me. I have some of the best experiences of my life with u30x, and now a passion for travel. Also, their alumni community and groups are awesome too!

Traveling with U30X has been life changing for me. I've made lifelong friends with both travelers and staff. I can't come up with enough good things to say about the company, the people, and the experiences I've had!

Just returned from my second trip with Under30Experiences. My first trip was to the Costa Rica rainforest. My most recent trip was to Iceland. Both trips were such an amazing experience. I loved learning about Iceland and its origins. I enjoy the small groups and I made some great new friends! Recommend them for anyone wanting to travel alone or with a couple of friends.

I was so scared to travel abroad alone and then I came across their website and they made international travel so easy! And the people I’ve met on the trips are some amazing individuals! I’ve done 6 of their trips and plan on continuing to do even more!!

My Hike the Inca Trail trip was beyond amazing, and I couldn't have asked for anything more from a trip. Our leaders made us all feel instantly comfortable, and the group was fantastic. The trip was well planned and the hike was unforgettable. Memories to last a lifetime.
