Why Explore Europe?

This trip brings you to five of the most spectacular countries in the world: Ireland, Scotland, England, France, and Spain.

From Dublin to Barcelona, hit major cities like Galway, Edinburgh, London and Paris quickly, while spending the majority of our time off the beaten path in the countryside.

Highlights will include hiking in the Cliffs of Moher and French Alps, followed by incredible gastronomy, and the Mediterranean beaches of Spain.

This will truly be a trip of a lifetime.

Day 1: Arrival in Ireland
& Howth Cliffs

Arrive at the Dublin Airport (DUB) before 7 AM and be shuttled to the village of Howth.

Spend your first morning exploring the lighthouses, shops, cafes and incredible cliff walk on the Bay of Dublin.

That afternoon travel to Kilkenny to stay in the world famous Butler House, once part of the Kilkenny Castle.

Day 2: Kilkenny Cultural

Today you will have the opportunity to continue your exploration of Kilkenny, the well-preserved historical Marble City.

Take a city walking or cycling tour, browse art galleries, tour the castle, or take one of Kilkenny's many nature walks along the river.

Climb to the top of St. Canice Cathedral and the Round Tower constructed in the year 1250 for a view of the city.

Day 3: Blarney Castle & Galway

Wake up and stroll through the Georgian garden on your way to an artisan breakfast in the stables of the Kilkenny Castle.

Explore the grounds of Blarney Castle. Kiss the Stone of Eloquence and never be at loss for words again.

Depart from Blarney for Galway as we continue the trip on the West coast of Ireland.

Day 4: Cliffs of Moher

After a night of song and dance at the traditional Irish pubs in Galway, it will be time to venture down the coast to the Cliffs of Moher.

The cliffs tower to over 700 feet above the ocean below and are truly a site to see.

You will be hard-pressed to find a more spectacular view in all of Ireland.

Day 5: Explore Dublin

Arrive in Dublin, Ireland's capital city to walk the River Liffey, through Trinity College and the winding pedestrian streets.

Have the option to visit the Guinness Storehouse, the Jameson Distillery or wander into an Irish Pub.

Your flight to Edinburgh leaves early the next morning and is included in your Under30Experiences trip.

Day 6: Arrival in Scotland

Arrive at Edinburgh International Airport and be shuttled to breakfast near the Stirling Castle.

Enjoy a beautiful drive to Glencoe, the scenic glen where Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was filmed.

Arrive at your countryside accommodations in the late afternoon and settle into your home base in the countryside.

Day 7: Explore Glenflinnan
& Hike the Lost Valley

In the morning, visit the statue of the Unknown Highlander at the pivotal battlefield in Scottish history.

Hike the viaduct 100 feet above the valley and enjoy the sweeping views the Highlands Region are so famous for.

In the afternoon, hike to the Lost Valley where locals used to hide stolen cattle on one of the most scenic hikes in the area.

Day 8: Eilean Donan Castle
+ Loch ness

After breakfast leave for a day trip to Eilean Donan Castle which dates from the 13th century.

Stroll around the most recognizable castle in Scotland that has been featured in dozens of films.

From the castle, we will drive along the shores of Loch Ness and stop for pictures while trying to spot the infamous Loch Ness Monster.

Day 9: Explore Edinburgh

Depart the countryside and arrive in the historic city of Edinburgh, home to Arthur's Seat, the Stone of Destiny and so many iconic pieces of history.

Stroll through the medieval Old Town and enter the massive Edinburgh Castle with your included ticket to explore the grounds.

For the adventurous, head out on an optional hike to Arthur's Seat for some of the best views of the entire city.

Day 10: London

Depart Edinburgh early in the morning on a direct train to London. Arrive in London before lunch to begin your day in England.

Spend your afternoon on a walking tour of the city to see sights like The Globe Theater, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, The London Eye, Buckingham Palace, local markets and more.

In the evening take the time to explore local pubs and nightlife in the charming city of London.

Day 11: Travel to Paris

After breakfast, prepare to continue your adventure as we head to the most romantic city in the world, Paris, France.

Spend the day exploring this remarkable and historical town as you get acquainted with the fourth country on your trip.

Walk from the Eiffel Tower to Champs-Élysées, through Tuileries Garden to the world famous Louvre Museum where Da Vinci's Mona Lisa is on display.

Later in the evening, wander the streets of Paris to enjoy an espresso or glass of wine at a quintessential Parisian cafe.

Day 12: Palace of Versailles

Breathe in the beauty of King Louis XIV's royal château that started as a hunting lodge in the year 1623.

The gardens of this estate will take your breath away, as the fountains, canal and flower beds seem to go on forever.

Arrive at Chateau de Barbirey, our private estate in the heart of French wine country that we will call home for the next three nights.

Day 13: Explore French Gastronomy

Wake up in the Burgundy countryside and enjoy your coffee, pastries, and croissants straight from the boulangerie.

Enjoy a day of wine tasting at vineyards that have been family owned for generations and become fully immersed in French culture.

In the evening, prepare dinner as a group with a French chef from the region during a guided cooking class.

Day 14: Burgundy Day

Wake up in the Burgundy countryside and enjoy your coffee, pastries, and croissants straight from the boulangerie.

Enjoy a day of wine tasting at vineyards that have been family owned for generations and become fully immersed in French culture.

In the evening, prepare dinner as a group with a French chef from the region during a guided cooking class.

Day 15: Explore Chamonix

Depart Burgundy early and drive to the French Alps and stop in a beautiful town known as the 'Venice of the Alps.'

Arrive Chamonix by the afternoon and explore the village that welcomed the first Winter Olympic Games in 1924.

Spend your first night in the Alps enjoying a regional Savoyard dinner.

Day 16: Explore the French Alps

Start the day hiking in the French Alps and enjoy stunning views of Mount Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe standing at 15,776 feet.

In the afternoon, go on the top of the Aiguille du Midi at 12,605 feet and admire a 360° view France, Switzerland, and Italy.

The snowcapped glaciers are not to be forgotten in the adventure capital of Europe.

Day 17: Arrival in Spain

Depart France early in the morning for the next leg of your adventure awaiting in Spain.

In the afternoon, arrive at your new home in the medieval town of Begur on the Costa Brava of Spain.

Indulge in the local Spanish tapas, explore the Castle of Begur and take a stroll through the charming streets overlooking the ocean.

Day 18: Costa Brava Beaches

Today we'll adventure over to the award winning beaches along the Spanish Coast.

We'll spend the day soaking up the sun on the Mediterranean at some of the most beautiful beaches this side of the world has to offer.

In the afternoon, venture out on a stunning coastal hike that will connect you to neighboring beaches and towns.

Day 19: Catalonian Cultural Day

Understand how this region of Catalonia, Spain consider's itself a sovereign nation and has its own culture and language.

Enjoy some of the best Spanish seafood available, just steps from where you're lounging at the beach.

After lunch, join us inland and visit the most beautiful medieval villages in Spain dating back to the 11th century.

Day 20: Explore Barcelona

After a short drive, arrive at the enchanting seaside city of Barcelona, an epicenter for art, culture, food and nightlife.

Explore the Gothic Quarter, walk La Rambla pedestrian boulevard and see the landmark Sagrada Família church.

Barcelona is the perfect climax to an already unforgettable adventure through Europe. You will never want to leave this city.

Day 21: Relaxation & Departure

On the final day of our adventure, wake up early to soak in the last morning in Europe together.

Say goodbye to your Euro-trip partners and depart at any time of the day with instructions from your trip leaders on how to take taxis, busses, or even Uber to the airport.

Be sure to ask your trip leaders for suggestions on what to do if you chose to spend more time in Barcelona.
