Welcome to Alaska! Meet at 8:00 am in Anchorage to start your scenic drive to Denali National Park, home to the tallest mountain peak in North America.
In the afternoon, learn the history of dog mushing from locals...and yes, you will get to meet the dogs!
End your first evening in Alaska by soaking up the midnight sun just outside of the world-famous Denali National Park.
After breakfast, drive deep into Denali National Park along dirt roads, away from crowds, as you keep an eye out for Denali’s unique wildlife.
Learn about Alaska’s resilient ecosystem along with the unique flora and fauna before enjoying a short hike, rewarding you with amazing views of the largest peak in North America!
Top off your day with an optional visit to the 49th State Brewing in Healy, where you can take photos with the infamous bus from the movie Into The Wild.
Bid farewell to Denali National Park before venturing south towards Seward. Stop to stretch your legs with a mile-long hike along Byron Glacier trail, providing you with epic views of the remote Alaskan backcountry.
Once in Seward, take a leisurely walk along the waterfront of this seaside village.
This night is all yours! After trying some local grub, feel free to call it a night and head back to your hotel or enjoy a visit to a downtown pub.
Start your day off with various hikes throughout Kenai Fjords National Park, starting at the Exit Glacier section, near Seward.
Looking for a challenge? Hike all the way to the top of Exit Glacier it will give you views over the Harding Icefield, which is 700 square miles of ice--as far as the eye can see.
On your way back down the mountain, keep your eyes open for marmots, mountain goats, and of course, bears!
After breakfast, make your way to the water for a wildlife cruise!
Travel through Resurrection Bay in the Gulf of Alaska, getting up close to a glacier, where you will get a chance to witness giant ice hunks calving into the sea, and then into one of the nearby fjords as you try to spot whales, orcas, sea otters, and other marine life.
After returning from your wildlife cruise adventure, celebrate your last night by sampling some excellent local seafood while recounting your time in Alaska.
Sip some coffee at your hotel before setting out on your final day in Alaska. As your group heads north, stop in the town of Girdwood, home to Alyeska Ski Resort for lunch and a relaxing stroll through the spruce trees.
Arrive in Anchorage by mid-afternoon with time to either make your way back to the airport to catch a flight departing after 6:00 pm or explore some of the shops and eateries of Alaska's biggest city.
