Meet your Trip Leader at the designated meeting point at 8:00 am in Asheville, North Carolina and depart toward the Great Smoky Mountains and start your adventure off strong with some whitewater rafting on the Nantahala River.
Enjoy lunch in the quaint mountain town of Bryson City, home to part of the Appalachian Trail.
Make your way to your campsite which will be your home away from home for the next three nights. Enjoy your first dinner as a group then fall asleep to the sounds of nature.
Enjoy a camp breakfast before lacing up your hiking boots and follow the trail to Lonesome Pine Overlook and take in the breathtaking views of the Nantahala Mountains.
After working up an appetite, head back to Bryson City for lunch. Make a stop at the Nantahala Brewery and learn about their brewing and sustainability practices.
Return to camp for dinner and enjoy another night under the stars.
After breakfast, head to the western portion of Great Smoky Mountain National Park and make your first stop at Newfound Gap to take a hike up to Clingman Dome.
Once you have returned from your hike, make a stop in Gatlinburg for lunch and do some shopping inthe wide variety of shops. Spend the rest of your afternoon in the forest, swimming and relaxing by the Little Pigeon River.
Return to your campsite for one final meal in nature with your new group of friends and reminisce on your trip around the campfire.
Wake up in your tent one last time and enjoy your last camp breakfast.
Arrive in Asheville with time to explore this funky town, and even take an option tour of the famous Biltmore estate.
Enjoy some world famous barbecue for lunch in Asheville before arriving at the designated ending location by 4:00 pm. Either catch your flight departing after 6:00 pm or extend your stay in Asheville.
