If visiting national and local parks is your cup of tea, this trip has your name written all over it! Five parks are included in this trip, including the famous Grand Canyon and Arches National Park. You will get to see both popular and lesser known areas of all of these parks, and even take an overnight camping excursion to really immerse yourself in the Navajo backcountry!
Designated starting point in Salt Lake City at 8:00 am.
Flying? Plan to arrive at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) -- Salt Lake City, Utah by 7:00 am to meet the group at the designated starting point.
Designated ending point in Las Vegas, Nevada at 5:00 pm.

This trip is relaxing and includes light activities with optional moderate activities. Participants can decide how much time they spend being active. No physical preparation is required to make the most of the experience.

Good morning! Meet your Trip Leader in Salt Lake City and get ready to drive through the beautiful state of Utah towards Moab.
Once you have arrived, set up camp with your new group of friends before taking your first visit to Arches National Park.
Enjoy a sunset hike along Delicate Arch Trail before settling in for the night or enjoying an optional night out.
After breakfast, make your way to Island in the Sky District inside Canyonlands National Park. Enjoy a hike as you gaze out over this incredible canyon.
In the afternoon, return to the desert town of Moab for a hike to Mill Creek Canyon followed by a refreshing swim.
As the sun sets, embark on an optional backcountry sunset Hummer tour or hang out by the campfire.
Sip on an early cup of coffee before returning to Arches National Park and hike Devil’s Garden Trail and marvel at Landscape Arch--the largest arch in the world!
Enjoy lunch back in Moab and spend your afternoon exploring the town or taking a relaxing dip in the pool.
Finish your day with a visit to Deadhorse State Park and enjoy dinner with the sunset as your backdrop before settling into your tent for the evening.
Begin your day by packing up camp then going from Moab to the Navajo Reservation and Monument Valley Tribal Park.
Meet your Navajo guide and depart on an epic overnight adventure! Learn all about the Navajo culture and enjoy some authentic tacos with the locals.
Then it’s time for a campfire under the stars! Enjoy a night off the grid and choose between sleeping inside the Navajo Hogan or outside under the blanket of stars above.
After spending a night in nature, catch the sunrise before returning to Monument Valley to freshen up a bit before hitting the road towards your next destination… Lake Powell!
On your way, make a pit stop at the Navajo National Monument and see ancient Anasazi cliff dwellings off in the distance.
Once in Lake Powell, fuel up with some lunch and visit Glen Canyon Dam, which is similar in size to the Hoover Dam!
That evening, check into your accommodations before beginning a sunset hike to the Horseshoe Bend viewpoint.
Rise and shine as another epic day of adventuring awaits!
Arrive at the Grand Canyon with an amazing first reveal of the vast canyon in front of you.
Enjoy your lunch on the edge of the canyon before receiving a safety briefing for tomorrow’s hikes. If you’re feeling adventurous, embark on an optional helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon to take in the natural wonder by air.
Finish off your day by setting up camp and enjoying another family meal and the campfire.
Today is a true “choose your own adventure” experience. With endless trail options inside the park, there are trails for all experience levels.
Once you’ve meandered through the park, meet back up with the group, and return to camp.
Enjoy a celebratory wine toast on the rim of the Grand Canyon as you watch your final sunset. Reflect on the past seven days spent with your new friends exploring this incredible part of the country.
Return to your campsite for one last dinner as a group around the campfire before settling into your tent for your final night sleeping in the wilderness.
Today’s drive to Las Vegas will be along the infamous Route 66!
Break for lunch at a classic Route 66 diner before completing the final leg of the drive.
Arrive in Las Vegas in the late afternoon and say “see you later” to your new group of friends.
