Day 1

Welcome to Scotland

We highly recommend booking pre-trip accommodations if you'd like to fully immerse yourself in Edinburgh's vibrant atmosphere.

  • Arrive at Edinburgh International Airport (EDI) before 10:00 am.
  • Take included transportation to your first traditional Scottish breakfast in Bridge of Allan.
  • Enjoy a beautiful drive to Glencoe, the scenic glen where Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban was filmed. (~4 hour drive)
  • Arrive at your guesthouse nestled in the breathtaking Scottish highlands and settle into your home base in Fort William.
  • Enjoy dinner with the group at a local Scottish restaurant.
  • Optional night out.

Day 2

Steall Falls & Glenfinnan


  • Have breakfast right at the guesthouse in Fort William 
  • Spend the morning hiking to Steall Falls with your Trip Leader and mountain guide and  learn the principle of “Leave No Trace hiking”. 
  • The terrain is a clear, well-walked path but can be rocky and steep. Good footwear is highly recommended.


  • Have lunch in Glenfinnan
  • Hike to Glenfinnan viaduct and wait for the Jacobite steam train. Some Harry Potter fans will find that train familiar! 
  • Head back to the guesthouse in Fort William later this afternoon


  • Have dinner in Fort William (not included).
  • Enjoy local pubs in Fort William with the group.

Day 3

Lost Valley & Fort William


  • Enjoy a delicious Scottish breakfast before starting your new adventure of the day! 
  • Start the hike from Glencoe with your Trip Leader and mountain guide and enjoy the scenic and dramatic route to the Lost Valley (~3 hours).
  • The terrain is rocky and steep. Good footwear and an active lifestyle is highly recommended!


  • Head back to Fort William for a well-deserved lunch and spend the afternoon exploring the town. 
    Suggestions: Visit the West Highland Museum; taste some Scottish whiskey at the Ben Nevis Distillery; take a walk to the Neptune Staircase or experience the UK's only mountain gondola to Nevis Range for a stunning view on the Scottish Highlands.


  • Enjoy your last dinner with the group (included) before heading to Edinburgh the next day! 

Day 4

Explore Edinburgh


  • Say goodbye to Fort William and travel to Edinburgh in a private vehicle (~3 hours). 
  • Leave your luggage at your guesthouse, located near the city center and get ready to get immersed in this vibrant and charming city. 


  • Grab lunch and explore Edinburgh with your Trip Leader. There are so many things to do! 
  • Suggestions: Edinburgh Castle, Royal Mile, Scott Monument, Museum of Scotland...etc. 
  • Have dinner in Edinburgh (not included) and celebrate your first night joining local pubs and drinking whiskey with the locals!

Day 5

Edinburgh Immersion


  • Enjoy another Scottish breakfast at your guesthouse.
  • For the early birds, start your day hiking to Arthur’s Seat and enjoy the beautiful views of the city. 


  • Make your own adventure in Edinburgh! You can decide to get to Calton Hill for more views of this beautiful city, visit Deans Village or go shopping tartan! 


  • Enjoy your final dinner in Edinburgh with the group (included) and get ready for tomorrow’s new destination!

Day 6

London's Calling!


  • Depart Edinburgh early in the morning on a direct train to London (~4 hour train ride).
  • Leave your luggage at your hotel and start visiting this big and dynamic city! 


  • Spend the afternoon exploring London. From Buckingham Palace to Camden Town, you have plenty of options and won’t be disappointed! Don’t hesitate asking your Trip Leader for recommendations. 
  • Suggestions: British Museum, National Gallery, London Eye, Covent Garden...etc.


  • Celebrate your last night with the group with a delicious dinner and experience the nightlife of London!

Day 7

Relaxation & Departure

  • Depart at any point during the day to the airport.
  • Your Trip Leaders can provide information on trains, taxis, buses and Uber to get you there.
  • If you plan to spend extra time in the city let your Trip Leaders know and they will provide recommendations.

Just returned from my second trip with Under30Experiences. My first trip was to the Costa Rica rainforest. My most recent trip was to Iceland. Both trips were such an amazing experience. I loved learning about Iceland and its origins. I enjoy the small groups and I made some great new friends! Recommend them for anyone wanting to travel alone or with a couple of friends.

I was so scared to travel abroad alone and then I came across their website and they made international travel so easy! And the people I’ve met on the trips are some amazing individuals! I’ve done 6 of their trips and plan on continuing to do even more!!

My Hike the Inca Trail trip was beyond amazing, and I couldn't have asked for anything more from a trip. Our leaders made us all feel instantly comfortable, and the group was fantastic. The trip was well planned and the hike was unforgettable. Memories to last a lifetime.
