Last week, we took a small group of travelers through Las Vegas, Zion, and Bryce Canyon National Park. We spent our days hiking and our nights cozied up in our hotel rooms. This United States hiking trip does not include camping, which makes it a perfect option for anyone wanting to enjoy nature, but not necessarily sleep in it.

Here's how the trip went:

Day 1: Las Vegas

Our trip began in the afternoon as we all met at our hotel in Las Vegas. After temperature checks (COVID safety measure), we went over the plan for the next four days then headed out to begin our adventure!

First stop: Fremont Street. This infamous portion of the city really gave us a true Vegas experience, complete with street vendors, performers, and fluorescent lights!

From there, we walked over to Downtown Container Park and wrapped up our first evening with a group dinner and enjoyed some delicious Mexican food.

We settled in at our hotel, which was also on Fremont Street, and rested up for the hiking adventures that await.

Day 2: Zion National Park

After enjoying breakfast in Las Vegas, we packed our bags, boarded our private transportation, and enjoyed the drive to Zion National Park.

Once we arrived, we didn't waste any time. We laced up our hiking boots and walked along Watchman Trail, as well as the lower and middle Emerald Pool Trails.

After working up an appetite, we enjoyed a, much deserved, dinner as a group.

With full stomachs, we settled into out hotel rooms...which also happened to have some of the comfiest beds that we've found in a hotel!

Day 3: Hiking the Narrows & Bryce Canyon National Park

Today was an early morning, but it was definitely worth it.

After breakfast, we made our way to The Narrows, suited up in our waterproof gear, and began our hike.

Since we got an early start around 7:00 am, we were practically the only hikers. If you've been to the Narrows, you know this is not always the case! It was a pleasant surprise, and made the experience even more unique.

Once we were done hiking, we began our journey to Bryce Canyon National Park. Along the way, we made a pit stop for lunch, then arrived to the park in the afternoon.

We began at the Visitor's Center, then hiked the Rim Walk, the Queens Garden trail, up to Inspiration Point, then walked along the rim from Sunset Point to Sunrise Point. We may have arrived in the afternoon, but man oh man did we still get in our day's worth of hiking and exploring!

One of our favorite parts of Bryce Canyon was the hoodoos. These unique rock formations riddled the landscape for as far as the eye could see. Seeing these hoodoos is definitely something to add to your bucket list, if you haven't already.

For our final dinner as a group, we indulged in a family style barbecue. Our accommodations for the evening were quaint log cabins, and the sky was clear enough that we were able to do a bit of stargazing. Did you know that Bryce Canyon National Park has some of the least light pollution in all of the United States?! This means that the conditions are near perfect for seeing the clear night sky filled with stars. Pretty cool!

Day 4: Hiking Zion National Park and Departing back to Las Vegas

After waking up in our log cabins and enjoying breakfast, we returned to Zion National Park, this time to explore a different section.

We hiked Kolob Canyon and Timber Creek Overlook Trail. Even though it's the last day of the trip, we definitely make the most of it!

After our hikes, we enjoyed lunch with a beautiful view...overlooking the canyon!

Alas, it was time to round out our epic four days of adventure with a drive back to where it all started, Las Vegas.

We had a stellar group of travelers, our Trip Leaders showed us all of the best trails, and we cannot wait to do it all over again.
