You, We, All: Curating Community with Under30Experiences

This week, Jason Wachob – founder of mindbodygreen – sent out a call of action. You can read the full message here, but he simply and eloquently wrote:

“It’s not about I. Me. My. It’s about You. We. All”

This is a charge to all of us – not just when it comes to wellness – but to each one of us connecting deeper, spreading empathy, and seeking to live with greater purpose.

In thinking about the U30X Community – a community I am so proud and honored to be part of – I can't help but think about our community in these terms.

U30X has several exciting initiatives coming down the pipeline designed to create a greater sense of WE.

We’ve heard from many of you that you would to see more overnight hiking/camping meetups and we will be unveiling our mini weekend experiences soon. These events are meant to bring people out into nature and curate a deeper sense of community.

In a few weeks we will also open our U30X gear store where you can get cool branded gear that you can take on any adventure.

This week we'll also launch our community manager roundtable discussions. These will occur every few months, ensuring that even more voices are heard as we continue to develop the community.

Lastly, our Black Friday Sale is coming up this month, with $200 off any trip! 

Our hope is that you will see investing in group travel is better than any deep discounted electronics at a big box store. And you can even book right in your pjs while eating leftover pumpkin pie.

And you can even give the gift of travel. After all, Experiences > Things.

Our community is built on the idea that together we all can impact the world.

U30X is committed to serving the communities we work in - from spending the day with communities deep in the Andes mountains in Peru to supporting the local children’s orchestra in Bali - and we are looking for more ways to support more local communities in impactful ways.

We will be dedicating staff time to listening to community needs and working alongside them to support community led projects.

The staff has also been having deeper discussions about how to reduce plastic water bottle consumption on trips, how to ethically eat, and how to be kinder to the environment. We hope these initiatives inspire you to take more conscious steps to take care of the world around you.

Together, we are building something beautiful

And that is something that we at U30X promise will never change.

Whatever changes happen in the world around us, we are dedicated today more than ever to stay true the course of creating meaningful touchpoints with you.
